The Gala
The Gala
In March of 2016, Boston's bombastic garage rock n' roll band The Gala appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Accompanied by the premiere of the single "November" on 100.7 WZLX, recorded to 2" tape a couple weeks prior at Zippah Studios, they made their debut on air at 91.5 WMFO and announced a number of dates to follow. Quickly concocting an incredibly powerful and dynamic set of material that is relentlessly frenetic, audacious and charismatic, managing to stay unflinchingly cool while belting out a blur of caustic sincerity. Self-releasing their single on 7" vinyl and for download through their publishing group Hi Fi Hepcat Press.

They have managed to build a hype for themselves with a spring, summer and fall packed full of fun-loving, energetic, fuzz-drenched shows in support of their single and it's video. Their schedule has been a myriad of collaborations with prominent and up-and-coming bands, established promoters and fitting area venues like O'Brien's (Allston, MA) and Lilypad Inman. Spreading their frenzied sermon of rock n' roll with additional support from Vanyaland, VanyaRadio, WEMF, 90.3 WZBC and 88.1 WMBR, there's no telling what debaucherous exploits will come!

The Evil Streaks
The Evil Streaks
The Evil Streaks combine the trashy garage sound of the ‘60s with the dark punkabilly sound of the Cramps. These characters, dressed only in black and white, unleash a unique brand of creepy-yet-rockin’ sound that is sure to leave you begging for more. Tortured souls cry out requests for “Stitch You Up" and "Little Witch Stomp" at their shows. They prove they are not one trick ponies when they pelt you with creepy cuteness with songs like “Pleatherface!” When they hit the stage, these dark players never fail to get their audiences going with their rockin’ riffs and sing along hooks!
